COVID-19 Pandemic : Staying Safe

There is enough writings on the Internet and /or distributed by governments covering every essential aspect of COVID-19. We just like to touch a bit on:

1. MASK IS IT NECESSARY?
However, we like to point out that the public generally follows what they see others are doing; and that being : wearing a mask. Now, doctors/surgeons/medical staff generally wear masks to protect the patient from their own breath and saliva (as both may contain micro-organisms).  It provides the user little protection BUT no harm in using it, if it makes you feel safe OR just in-case you caught some bug and you don't want to spread it to others!... Do get N95 type masks. Anyway, keep a distance of at least 3 feet from others, do not shake hands or exchange gifts/plastics begs/food/drinks etc.

2. GLOVES (Rubber [latex]surgical or light plastic)
More importantly, wear GLOVES (rubber or latex types). Yes, something that is rarely done. Wear gloves especially when going out of home, picking up vegetables/meat at stores or generally touching food when buying it! When returning home, do NOT wash the gloves. Just take them off from back of palm towards fingers, so that  the gloves will be 'inside out'. Don't touch the exposed hand with the other gloved hand. Put your finger at the edge of the remaining glove near the wrist, and pull forward. Then dispose both gloves immediately.  Wash hands with soap and room temperature water (NOT hot water).

TIP: if you have difficulty putting on gloves, wash your hands and dry thoroughly.
Then  rub some talcum powder on your hands and between finger.
Finally put on the gloves, it will be a breeze!
